Access
The Apotu Road rock climbing area is on private land, so obtain prior consent from the owner

Travel north from Whangarei, about 5km after Karmo you should pass over
a bridge. Directly after bridge turn left on to Apotu Road and drive
another 4km, just before the steep hill (with a bridge at the end), turn
right into the driveway to a white house with a red letterbox.
