Access

Access to both area is gained by driving up the opposite side of the lake, using the road which starts near the end of the dam.

The Left Abutment is on private land owned by Les & Joy Martin (07) 882 8772 and permission must be obtained prior to entering the property. Access may be declined.

We understand that the Prominent Peak is on Department Of Conservation (DOC) land and the climbs listed in the guide are situated on the lower left of the cliffs. there is plenty of potential for more routes.
